5 And A Dime, and some Sneaker Freaks.

by Ryan Sher ~ November 27th, 2007

Congrats to our boy Jay from the 5 And A Dime shop down in San Diego. They got their new shop open just in time for Black Friday, and decided to throw a little party to go with it. The store looks great, and we’re proud to be a part of it. Check out more pics of the shop and party at the 5 And A Dime blog, and on The Hundreds. Also our friends from down under at, Strictly BMX made up some real nice custom Subrosa Letum Cruisers which got a nice right up on Sneaker Freaker. The bikes look great, so a big thanks to Strictly for that.

P.S. The completes are available now.

They’re here..

by Ryan Sher ~ November 20th, 2007

The 2008 Subrosa Complete Bikes arrived yesterday. It’s been a lot of work to get to this point, but damn they look good! The response from shops has been awesome, and they’re going quick, so give Super Dave at Sparky’s a call, if your shop still hasn’t ordered. Supplies are shipping now, so get them while we have some left. Thanks to Austin, Byron, Ronnie, Mark, Johnny and G.L. for unloading the trucks, yes trucks!

Who’s anonymous?

Hoang didn’t have to travel very far to hit up the Give D comp last weekend, lucky for him it was at his local park. The Mission Valley YMCA hosted the first of many Give D jams. It looked like a lot of fun, for sure. For more pics, and coverage, check out Defgrip, Ride BMX, and PDX BMX. Also Adam from The Come Up
added a new feature to his message board called “Ask the Pro’s”. Hit it up, and ask me some questions. Rich is down in sunny California again, check out this interview form the last time he was down south on Vimby.

The Office.

Yup, I’m still down in Florida workin on all kinds of new Subrosa goodies. Alright, it hasn’t been all work, there’s just something about being out on the lake in November that almost makes Florida a livable place, almost. Speaking of Florida, Chad Moore is throwing a bowl jam in Tampa, and the Give D crew moved they’re jam to a new date. If you see Hoang there, tell him you’ll be their new roommate. He’ll be psyched. Now playing Jay-Z, Heart of the City. Shit the Fuck Up coming soon!

Eli Platt

by Ryan Sher ~ November 2nd, 2007

Here’s a post for the Eli fans out there, first off, he’s got a really good interview on BMX Online, about being sponsored, and his newest sponsor The Shadow Conspiracy. He’s enjoying a nice fall in Columbus, and testing his signature Subrosa frame “The Armada”. Last but not least, could he be the next Dubia X-games gold medalist? I think we’re gunna find out.
